I am still doing it in week 3. It is getting harder to find new things to photograph, I need to get out more.
February 3
Party Lite candles and all their holders have taken up a huge amount of space in our house. These holders have been on the bathtub deck for quite some time but I rarely light candles in them. What I like about this photo is the reflection of the candle holders in the shower window.
February 4
On Super Bowl Sunday, I found this little football in the backyard caked with mud. Since the entire family was rooting for the Colts, I had to bring it in and clean it up. It sat in a position of honor on top of the TV cabinet the entire game.
February 5
On February 5, I did not go to work, so I got to see how hot it got in our backyard. This is not the first time that it hit 80 in February and it won't be the last. I get so annoyed at the weather talking heads on the news that proclaim this as beautiful weather. It is winter, it would be beautiful if it were in the 60s and overcast. With as little rain that we are getting this winter, the summer could be miserable!
February 6
Our garage is a disaster area! We can park one car in it, so I guess it could be worse, but it would be so nice if most of the crap found a new home, like the trash or recycle bins. 22 years in the same home and people who can't throw things away will lead to this kind of mess.
February 7
Just when you think there is no more room to build, up pops another shopping center. There will be two Home Depot stores within about 5 miles of each other, same with Trader Joe's and Staples. With all the houses being built in the same area, I guess it is a good idea, it will keep those residents out of the ones I usually go to and they are crowded enough already.
February 8
Dinner, a really simple one, roast chicken from the grocery store, mixed vegetables, salad and wine. I am not a very adventurous cook, so our meals are usually pretty straightforward. Also, I don't want to be spending a ton of time cooking after I get home from work.
February 9
All of those Party Lite products arrived in four boxes surrounded by packing peanuts. I put them all in the same box and did not get rid of them. Lucy discovered that she loves playing with them. She knocked the box over and they spread all over the living room floor. It would probably be a good idea to find a better place for them. I keep them so that I have something to use when I send Steve packages in Tokyo.
